Mike has put up a pretty favorable post on Blogburst, a new service from the makers of Pluck that will syndicate blog content to mainstream media sites. In this instance, I think his optimism is well-placed, with a few reservations.
First, why no revenue-sharing? Blogburst is offering to give you "audience reach and traffic", and of course you can monetize those visitors on your own site. But Blogburst isn't doing a favor for me - I'm doing a favor for them. And ultimately I think that means they should pay me in cash as well as traffic. However, Dave Panos from Pluck adds in the comments that a compensation model will be added eventually, so if that's the case I'll be glad to see it.
