It's been a long time since we heard about ClipShack, the video-sharing site that now looks a lot like YouTube. But today it transpires that the parent company, Reality Digital, has raised $2 million in Series A funding from "undisclosed individual investors".

However, they're keen to point out that ClipShack isn't vying to be the next YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe or MySpace Video - instead, they want to build out Reality Digital Opus, a platform that helps enterprise customers incorporate video into their sites. Existing clients include Atom Entertainment and Oodle.

The company was founded in 2003 and ClipShack launched in June 2005. But if their latest press releases are anything to go by, it seems that ClipShack is just a smart piece of marketing for the company's white label solutions.
