The video-sharing site Motionbox will roll out two key features today: deep tagging and the ability to post videos to MySpace and blogs via an embeddable player. This means you can now tag any portion of a video, but you can also let your visitors jump straight to the highlights, or skip to the portions you've tagged. It also means that you can divide the video into chapters and point out key moments.

Until now, Motionbox has been a basic YouTube clone with a bunch of promised features. The new stuff at least gives the service a unique angle, but services like MySpace Video and YouTube already have the network effects going - even with the coolest features, it's hard to see how anyone will catch up.
