The widget world hasn't escaped the Super Bowl frenzy, it seems: marketing company MediaSauce has created a Flash widget and viral video campaign called Bear Vs Colt, which seems to be an experiment into how powerful social media marketing can be.

The company has created a series of videos - far more amusing than the self-made Super Bowl ads from Meebo, Meez and the rest (sorry, guys!). Fittingly, the Bear and the Colt both have MySpace pages, too, and they're cross-posting all the clips to MySpace Video and YouTube.

How successful can this viral marketing be? They've taken 60,000 votes through the widget so far - not bad going for a widget that's less than a week old.
