Google Belgium - Google has lost its case over including certain Belgian news sources in Google News. It's almost like they don't want the traffic. (via)

MyActionAid - UK charity Action Aid is launching its own MySpace clone today. MyActionAid lets users connect, organize events and gather donations - really nice implementation.

Burnout Band Slam 2 - Another day, another MySpace contest. Electronic Arts, Virgin Records and MySpace have debuted Burnout Band Slam 2, a talent contest for bands on MySpace. It's a similar idea to YouTube Underground.

TagaBook - A new community for book lovers. TagaBook doesn't seem as fully fledged as strong as Shelfari and LibraryThing, but a worthy attempt nonetheless.

BrowseGoods - BrowseGoods, which launched yesterday, is a visual interface for shopping - think Google Maps meets Amazon. It's an interesting way to shop, although I'm doubtful that it'll catch on. (via)

37Signals Highrise - 37Signals has announced the upcoming launch of Highrise, their new contact manager. It was previously known as Sunrise, but they've changed the name due to trademark issues.

Social Networks Opening Up - LinkedIn, Friendster and Orkut may open their APIS to outside developmers, says BusinessWeek. No comment from MySpace.

Cozi Central - Another social site that's being branded "MySpace for parents." Cozi Central was founded by ex-Microsoftees and offers a shared calendar, lists, messages and a dynamic photo collage.

Radar.net, Sidekick - Radar.net, the photo service we called the anti-Flickr, will be available tomorrow on the Sidekick. (via)
