PKWiki, one of many wiki platforms for educators, businesses and individuals, has raised $2 million in funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures - they'd previously announced a $350,000 round in November, and the team has increased from 3 to 6 members.

PBWiki also rolled out more features last week - those included point and click WYSIWYG editing and support for "plugins" (similar to widgets) for Gabbly, Slide.com, YouTube and more. That announcement got a lot less coverage than the widget strategy from Wetpaint - they recently added support for embedded videos, Meebo widgets and Photobucket slideshows.

In truth, though, the PBWiki implementation of "plugins" just isn't as fun or flexible. Frankly, wikis are boring, and Wetpaint is the only one to add pizazz, in my opinion. That said, PBWiki doesn't need to be sexy necessarily, bearing in mind that individuals aren't the key audience.
