Those of you using Wordpress as your blogging platform will know it's infinitely extensible via user-created plugins. Alas, these are scattered around various personal blogs, and the only attempt at a centralized repository up until this point was wp-plugins.org, a site that's virtually impossible to use.
So props to Wordpress for rolling out a new Wordpress Plugins Directory, where plugins can be browsed, rated, commented on and downloaded. For developers, the site offers greater exposure, free hosting, download stats to track the popularity of your plugins, Paypal donation links and links back to your homepage. Nice job, Wordpress!
