Just a quick note to say that Google has announced its acquisition today of the in-game ad provider Adscape, which we mentioned about two months ago (Google is being slow for a change).
On its FAQ page, Google explains that it will expand to in game ads, although they're not yet sure whether these will look like contextual text ads or something else - perhaps integrated into the game. Red Herring originally rumored the price to be around $23 million, which is likely accurate.
