We may be crawling up the Technorati Top 100, but it's the Twit 100 that will be the measure of success going forward. At least, it will be if just-launched service Twitterholic has anything to do with it.
Twitterholic is a Top 100 for the Twitter community, and we're glad to see that Mashable Twitter Edition, which launched last week, is already the 45th most popular Twitter account - that's despite the fact that we accused Twitterers of being time wasting cat bloggers. Twitterholic is one of many Twitter add-ons being built thanks to the availability of the Twitter API.
But 45th in the world just isn't good enough. If Mashable, Twitter Edition is gonna knock Twitter king Scoble off the top spot, you're gonna need to do better than that, Mashfans. UPDATE: In related news, Alexa tracking service Alexaholic just renamed itself "Statsaholic" to avoid trademark issues. Hopefully Twitterholic won't face the same problem.
