Snocap, Pump Audio Hook Up

Snocap, the digital content management service that lets you sell your music through its MySpace music player, will announce today that it's teaming up with Pump Audio, the licensing company for independent artists that sells tracks to TV advertisers and web video creators. Now Snocap users have the option of licensing their music for commercial purposes like advertisements. In turn, Pump Audio users can now sell their music using Snocap's widget. This broadens the reach of Pump Audio's artists, as Snocap's widget works on MySpace, hi5, Piczo and all the rest.

The partnership between Snocap and Pump Audio seems truly symbiotic: it's beneficial for both ends of the music industry, and a big boost for artists on both services. Perhaps YouTube will even add the option of paid backing tracks to AudioSwap, its new soundtrack replacement tool.
