After ten years of presenting awards to those most influential within our Internet culture, the Webby Awards are extending their graces to hold a separate ceremony for Film and Video as well. Coined "the Oscars of the Internet" the Webby Awards have become an institution in their own right, showcasing all kinds of celebrities from the founders of MySpace, Flickr and Craigslist, to Prince and former Vice President Al Gore at their ceremonies.

The Webby Film and Video Awards are the first to acknowledge the web's film and video in such an esteemed manner (sorry YouTube video award winners). The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Rob Corddry, current star of Fox citcom "The Winner" and former correspondent for "The Daily Show" and will be judged by industry leaders including Harvey Weinstein and Matt Blank. The Webby Film and Video Awards will take place on Tuesday, June 5th, at Cipriani Wall Street, NYC.
