If Facebook, its value rocketing beyond Yahoo's means, ever makes an acquisition, Mosoto would likely be a good bet and a worthwhile talent buy. The web-based app, which adds file sharing, chat and music sharing to Facebook by leveraging the API, is in a different league to other Facebook add-ons.
Today the team of two - Seth and Girard - notified Mashable of two further updates ahead of the site's launch from private beta: a new way to share files with Facebook friends, webcam/VoIP support. That's right: chat to your Facebook friends via your webcam. Better still, they sent along a video (below) to save some time. Clearly there's some awesome functionality here, and Facebook could do with incorporating some of these bright ideas.
