I'm pretty sure these startups change their names just to annoy us, but today Share2Me, the bookmarklet that lets you share media across MySpace, Facebook, IM and email, is announcing a new name: ShareThis.
They're also announcing a new promotional site called HowYouShare, hosted by YouTube "celeb" abbegirl. She's being paid to create some pretty subtle ads for the site, like the one below. It seems that YouTubers aren't quite as vigilant about disclosure as bloggers are: we're seeing plenty of promos-in-disguise popping up.
