Google Spreadsheets has added charts. The feature, in development for some time now, is a highly anticipated addition since the application was launched last year.
Nearly every type of chart can be created, from pie charts to bar graphs. You can use the new feature in Firefox and Internet Explorer without the need for a plug-in. Google has been busy lately with the documents applications. Just yesterday, Google announced their plans to add presentation tools in an effort to compete with Microsoft Powerpoint. This too will be a feature used in conjunction with Google Spreadsheets, and Google Docs. In addition, Google Spreadsheets and Docs were incorporated within the Google Apps family earlier this year.
