I have the dubious honor of announcing that Mashable.com has been banned in Thailand, due to our reporting of the YouTube ban, continued reports and posting of the clips that had offended the Thai government. The comments on those posts have generated some fascinating discussions that are worth reading.

As you can see in the screenshots below, the Mashable.com homepage now redirects to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, while internal pages display the green error message that I can't translate. Criticizing the Thai king is a crime punishable by up to 15 years in jail if you're based in that country.
