Snocap announces today their deal with Warner Music Group to sell songs through Snocap's widget-based MyStores.

MyStores enables artists to sell downloads directly to fans through widgets that can be placed on their websites or social networking profiles, including MySpace, Hi5, Piczo, Bebo, and Imeem. MyStores launched last year, providing a more autonomous way for artists, especially indie bands, to sell their content and retain full rights. While Snocap already had a deal with Warner Music Group for distribution purposes, this latest deal allows Warner's music to be sold through MyStores. The benefits for Warner include an easy, portable way to tap into social networking communities for the purpose of selling music, using a distribution channel that is already well integrated into the MySpace system.
