Contactify is a new service that will create a URL in leiu of your email address, so that you can safely display a way for people to contact you without having to disguise or reveal your email address.
Creating a Contactify account is simple: input your email address and a password, type in the CAPTCHA, and you'll get to activate your account. Now you have a URL instead of an email address that can be posted on your website, personal blog, or social networking profile. When others click on your Contactify URL, they're redirected to a message page where they can type in a message and leave their email address. Contactify works to reduce spam by including a CAPTCHA for the sender as well. The message is then forwarded to your email address.
Unlike Spambox, Contactify is not temporary and won't require an expiry date. Though, Spambox can be used to replace your email address in all situations, whereas Contactify is a URL and cannot be placed in an email field for things such as site registration. And unfortunately for Contactify, they sent us their release a day too late! They would have come in handy for all you readers requesting a Joost invite, but not wanting to leave an email address in the public comments thread.
