SuperStock's parent company a21 announces an agreement with Pixsy, the image and video search platform, to power their searches and build three portals for Fine Art, Travel and Creative/Contemporary.
The new portals are to be powered by Pixy's image search engine, which aggregates images and creates thumbnails for distribution across the web. The partnership with SuperStock will extend the reach of their stock images, getting them closer to advertisers and publishers. It also introduces a new stream of revenue for both companies, which is especially promising considering the growth of online photo sharing and the desire for individuals to monetize their content.
