As promised back in March, Yahoo has started to roll out unlimited storage for Yahoo Mail today. Anyone want to see how unlimited it really is?

Once you've got unlimited storage, you'll see the storage meter disappear from the top right. Alas, we don't have unlimited storage on our accounts yet, and a quick check reveals that new users don't necessarily have access either. The complete rollout, according to Yahoo, could take a few months.

The storage limit is increasing from 1GB, and the change takes Yahoo beyond GMail's 2.8GB, albeit without the labels, threading and sexual prowess that come with being a GMail user. The increased space will apply to all accounts, not just those on the new beta version of Yahoo Mail.
