YouTube is the next battle ground for the Democratic presidential candidates: the video site will co-sponsor the first of six Democratic debates of the 2008 race, making it the first "new media" sponsor in an opportunity normally reserved for mainstream news outlets. CNN is the television partner for the debates. Presumably this will all be tied in to YouTube's YouChoose campaign, in which candidates talk directly to viewers.
