Eons, the social network for baby boomers, announced its partnership with Bunchball to power its games offered online.

The Bunchball games are interactive, and provides another avenue for communication and, of course, stickiness. Eon members can play each other, and interestingly enough, Eon is promoting the ideal that grandparents can now play online with their children and grandchildren, who are already rather active in the online gaming industry. I'm not sure how many teenagers will be thrilled to play Icebreakers with their elders, but the great point here is that members can invite those from outside the community to still join in on the fun.

While Bunchball retreated from the MySpace widget market, the gaming company has been busy garnering partnerships, creating games for NBC and integrating with Facebook. Eons has also recently announced that it has raised about $30 million in funding.
