As suggested by their registration of all the relevant domains, Google has gone ahead and added street view to Google Maps to coincide with all the other map-related launches at Where 2.0. Alas, it isn't yet live for us, but readers say that the option for street level view appears at the top right of the map where available (eg in New York and San Jose).
