RockYou has just released its stats for its slideshow tool build on the Facebook API, reporting a leading position for slideshow on Facebook, with over 200K Facebook widgets created.
Holding the number 1 spot for slideshows on Facebook, RockYou has over 70K embeds, which is reportedly three times more than Slide. RockYou widgets Horoscope and Slideshow are both in the top ten Facebook applications, making it the only company that has more than one application in the top ten. RockYou has pulled in 200K new users yesterday, and its rate of acquisition is still growing. Looks like RockYou is becoming the Photobucket of Facebook. I'm sure all the partnerships with music companies that RockYou has signed just before releasing the Facebook application enables RockYou to offer several options for its users. RockYou has also hinted to a third application coming to Facebook soon.
