Webcam broadcasting provider blogTV has announced the launch of an embeddable player, enabling users to host live shows on their own web sites. Previously, blogTV broadcasts were only available through the company’s web site.
blogTV targets video bloggers, allowing anyone with a webcam to hook up and broadcast live through the site. Once a video has been recorded, it is indexed and stored to your blogTV profile. By making videos embeddable, blogTV users will now be able to promote their shows on blogs, web sites, and of course MySpace.
The service competes with Stickam, who already offers an embeddable player.
