Looks like Windows Live is working on another project--this time for an Events service.
While Microsoft hasn't officially announced an upcoming events application, but a job posting on Simply Hired gave its intentions away. Requesting two Software Design Engineers for its Mountain View office, Microsoft alerted the world to its test product entitled Windows Live Events, letting users share and plan different types of events in "compelling" ways. Well, the job posting was quickly pulled, and while some remnants of it can be found with Google, it's pretty clear that Microsoft wasn't quite ready to let the cat out of the bag.
At any rate, the rest of us are wondering what Microsoft plans to do with Windows Live Events, and how it will fit into the larger social network its currently building, slowly integrating the components created for a suite of social and personal offerings.
