[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]Google has launched an interface for iPhone users that makes using Google on your iPhone super easy. It's powered by the AJAX search API, and also supports image search.
And that's the real news here: they've rolled out image search for the AJAX search API. Anything build on this API benefits from fast access to image search results, a full suite of raw, javascript-accessible properties and customization of the results using HTML and CSS. There's a demo below, along with a picture to the right of what it looks like on the iPhone.
