AllPeers, the Firefox extension enabling P2P functionality, has launched full support for BitTorrent.

This full support means that all sharing still takes place privately between AllPeers members, but they now get BitTorrent functionality. The file-sharing extension already had used the BitTorrent protocol, but in a limited manner.

Users can download torrent files directly into their browser without needing a BitTorrent software client, making the utilization of a BitTorrent client much easier for non-technical folks. What's more, with AllPeers file-sharing system, two or more friends are downloading the same torrent, they'll get faster sharing benefits. This is due to BitTorrent connections.
