MySpace and the Producers Guild of America have partnered to launch "The Storyteller Challenge" which is a search for an up and coming producer.
This contest is inviting aspiring producers to submit 5-7 minute television pilots, beginning September 4, 2007. The videos will provide original content for MySpaceTV. The two best producers will get $25,000 and an opportunity to sign with FOX. In addition, MySpace users will get exclusive access to the submitted clips and voting rights as well. There will be an expert judging panel comprised of members of the Producers Guild of America, top film schools and FOX executives. This contest will be going on for a while, so you have some time to get your pilot right.
