Compete, the web analytics tool, has raised $10 million in a Series C funding.
The round was led by previous investors Charles River Ventures, idealab, Split Rock Partners and William Blair Capital Partners. This brings the total amount of funding for Compete to $43 million since the year 2000. It only recently launched as a free tool for users, and has since gained in popularity. Compete has been incorporating new features, including velocity metrics, and has recently launched Search Analytics.
