Rick Deacon has been busted by MySpace for hacking into the social network.

His particular hack comprised of rigged links that would route them to a file that stole their personal information, like passwords and other information stored in cookies. This information could then be used to leverage more accounts to further spread the virus. So what happened to Deacon? His MySpace account was deleted after a several-month run of his hack-fest. He's reportedly said that he's proud that MySpace finally found the hack and fixed it, and realizes that he should have first set up a dummy account so as not to get caught.

Who else has gotten busted? Daniel Lyons, the real man behind the Fake Steve blog.
