JibJab, the maker of many viral comedy hits, is now letting anyone star in their own JibJab movie. The new Starring You! tool allows you to upload a picture of your head and add it to a JibJab movie template.
Once done, you can email the clip to your friends - apparently you can also grab an embed code, but that wasn't working at the time of writing (it's a shame that it's not loading for me at all now, cos my movie was awesome). Like Simpsonize Me, it appeals to your vanity and will likely be a big hit, if only to make stupid clips of your friends. Registration is required to publish your movie, of course.
It's also indicative of the fact that being a content production house is an enormous amount of effort: aggregating clips ala YouTube and letting users make their own stuff is a lot less work.
