Animoto is the service that lets you create a professional-looking music video based on only your uploaded images and music. We reviewed them a couple of weeks ago while the site was still in private beta, but the site will officially launch tomorrow.
You'll remember that Animoto takes your images and music, and applies editing technology that professionals in the film industry use for creating things like movie trailers. There is a bit of a community involved with Animoto as well, and another goal of the site it to support new artists as well as music. Animoto will feature a section of new music in its Music Lounge to promote artists and offer users more content to include with their mashup creations. The company has worked out a licensing deal to bring users music from Uncommon Trax, which will offer songs from projects like Entourage, Sex & The City and Grand Theft Auto.
