Facebook Diaries Officially Launched in Conjunction With Ziddio

Facebook has launched its collaborative project with Ziddio, Comcast's video site, entitled the Facebook Diaries.

New episodes will be shown every Thursday, and will feature Facebook users just like you. The weekly episodes feature a compilation of clips that have been submitted by Facebook users, and the purpose is to showcase their real life stories, in an LG15 kinda way. Clips can be submitted on Ziddio, and those that are worthy will be chosen for the Diary episodes. And these aren't boring clips. Editing and effects are added by R.J. Cutler, a producer at Actual Reality Pictures. The project is also being led by Zuckerberg's own sister, Randi.

The episodes will be shown on Comcast's video on-demand service, giving Facebook and its users a pretty wide distribution for sharing its message.
