David Sifry, the founder of blog search engine Technorati, has stepped down as CEO. After a so far unsuccessful search for a replacement, he's decided to step down regardless, staying on as Chairman of the Board. Taking over the reigns will be Teresa Malo, CFO, Dorion Carroll, Vice President of Engineering, and Derek Gordon,Vice President of Marketing. A CEO is still being sought.

A rather ominous sign: they've also laid off 8 staff members in a cost cutting move.
