The Great Stache Off is a fund raiser that's raising money for the fight against testicular cancer.
If you're wondering what this is all about, I'll go ahead and fill you in. Contestants joining agree to shave off all facial hair by September 1. They'll remain clean-shaven until October 31, except for their mustache. The idea is silly enough to work, and you can bet that I'll be checking in periodically on the site's gallery to see how the mustaches are looking.
It costs $20 to enter as a contestant. You're also encouraged to get sponsors. Grab the "donate" badge that the organization has provided to spur your friends into action. The prize is a really cool trophy. I hope there aren't any female contestants...
