Wis.dm, the social bookmarking and media-sharing site that's relaunched with a Q&A slant, has received $5 million in funding. The funding was provided by North Bridge Venture Partners, with its Michael Skok joining the board.

The marketing efforts for Wis.dm have been tweaked as well, with users now being spurred to ask questions that can better spur debate and conversation. One of its newer features is the wis.dm quiz, which are pre-packaged, conversation-sparking games. Answer the questions for each quiz, and see how you stack up to others that have participated.

As Wis.dm launched earlier this year with little differentiating factors, it's been slowly shifting its service to better stand out from the likes of Digg and del.icio.us. See also: Q&A TOOLBOX: 30+ Tools For Questions and Advice
