The filmforay is a new site that's built a community around the single goal of creating a film.
In a time where leveraging communities is a ruling standard for collaboration, filmforay has taken this concept and created a website. You're invited to join the site, and aid in this collaborative effort to help make a film, from the ground up. Submit ideas in a uniquely pleasing format, read the ideas of others, leave comments, and check out other user profiles.
For each idea, you can include three images that represent the basic premise of your film, write your title, pitch and synopsis. The community votes on your idea, and you earn a reputation (or clout, as it's called on filmforay). For your profile, you can share film-related tidbits about yourself, like what your favorite movies are, and what actors and actresses you love. Follow the overall progress of the filmforay by reading the company blog, and further engage yourself by participating in forums. Stay updated with incoming film ideas by subscribing to the feed.
