Yahoo has expanded its partnership with R.H. Donnelley, the print and local search company, for advertising distribution on Yahoo Local and Yahoo Maps.
The financials of the deal were not disclosed, but R.H. Donnelley will be distributing local advertiser content across its own platforms, other local search sites, and Yahoo as well. Included in this partnership will be 14 Western and Midwestern states, where highly targeted ads will display on Yahoo local and maps online properties.
Featured and enhanced listings, which will include images and coupons, as well as Maps Business listings will show as sponsored listings within search results for local and map queries. This deal may be good for R.H. Donnelley, as Yahoo has just relaunched its Local sites with more community features.
