Babelgum's Online Film Festival is opening up submissions at midnight. We first mentioned the Film Festival here.
The participating filmmakers have the opportunity to win about $27,000 (€20,000) in each category. They'll get to earn some cash from a rev-share program too. For the festival, Babelgum has added a new music video category since its first announcement. It's also pulled some high profile judges, including Stefano Martina and Spike Lee for selecting finalists and judging content. The first round of finalists will be chosen by users. It's free to enter, and you have until Feb. 15, 2008 to submit your film. The awards ceremony will be in May of next year.
