We haven't heard much from Xanga lately, but it's recently added a new live video streaming feature to its blogging platform called XangaTV.

There's a video module that will be added to the top of your blog, with your live stream and a chat option for other Xanga users to chime in. There's also a tab within the video player to check out the highlights. There's also an option to create your own highlights, which essentially lets you start and stop recording from the webcast and add it to the list of highlights. All of your regular blogging content will display beneath the livecam.

So far Xanga has gotten three featured Live Streams, including BobCamTV, 50 Cent, who will be streaming this weekend's concert live, and Jakob Lodwick, the founder of Vimeo.
