Fallen Star Wars Clip on YouTube Has Been Restored

 By   on

Remember that guy who's Star Wars spoof video was removed from YouTube as a result of a take-down notice issued by Viacom? Now the clip has been restored to YouTube, in all its glory.

If you don't remember the whole story, here's a recap (or you could read the original post here). Chris Knight was running for his county's school board and made a commercial, showing him fighting the woes of a bad educational system with a light saber. VH1 thought the clip was funny enough to include in their show "Web Junk," without Knight's permission. Chris Knight thought this was cool enough to show that he was on VH1, and uploaded a clip from the television program, which was then removed by YouTube after Viacom issued take-down notices (as they always do, on a very daily basis). Knight fought this claim, and won. The clip has been restored to YouTube, and Knight's account has not been penalized. All is well.
