Facebook Offering Data Storage to Developers?

Looks like Facebook is getting ready to offer data storage for developers of Facebook applications. This means that developers may not have to be wholly responsible for providing their own server storage for Facebook apps. No details have been released yet, so there's no word on how much storage could be made available, or if and how much it will cost developers. Should this all come to fruition, it would be considered another form of enticement to keep the Facebook application fire burning.

This may be important with all the other networks like LinkedIn, Bebo and Yahoo announcing plans to offer a similar platform for the publishing and promotion of applications through their services as well. In other Facebook news, there's now a CPC advertising options for Facebook flyers, and two new APIs are in the works.
