Veoh has teamed up with the NCAA to launch a new tool for its video service that lets you create your own college football highlights. Veoh already has an NCAA branded channel, and this new offering essentially lets you customize its content for your own player.

With this tool you can select from a slew of video clips from categories like conferences, plays, players and schedules, then move onto more specific subcategories, like teams, depending on the initial category you've chosen. All along, you'll get a display of video thumbnails that match your modified filter, and you can preview these clips to select the ones you'd like to include in your custom highlight reel. Save your finished product and share it with others on Veoh, or embed it in your Facebook or MySpace profile, blog, or personal website.

There are no editing or mashup options, which would be cool for those wanting to create their own broadcasts of sorts. Mashups would be great so that images and captions could be incorporated into the highlight reels, and maybe even your own video content as well. Clips will be updated twice a week with new game footage, enabling you to continually create new highlight reels. Another personalized sports video highlights tool is Gotuit, which has partnered with companies like Sports Illustrated to provide users with a way to customize NFL draft coverage.
