coComment is launching its 2.0 version live to the public. With this latest version, more social networking features are being included in the product for better tracking and communication options for users. Version 2.0 came rather soon after its initial social coComments service being launched, which already had a directed goal of offering social networking around comments and blog discussions. Many of the new features expand on those we saw with the initial launch, including a more enhanced side bar for "portable" discussion management.
Some of the new features include the ability to comment on any page, even those that don't support comment threads. There's also a My Community section, which lets you see the activity of the people and groups that you're connected to. You can also stay connected with friends through the monitors and updates of your conversations on blogs and articles. A new split-screen option lets you navigate conversations from your side bar, meaning you can take much of your coComment real-time networking with you as you browse other pages on the Internet.
