MatchMine is a company we've covered in the past, when it was still in private beta. It has now fully launched at DEMO, and it's pretty darn cool.
You'll remember that MatchMine is a media recommendation service, and it works by taking in your personal preferences When I first checked out MatchMine, the beta was limited to movie recommendations, and while my interest was piqued by the fact that MatchMine doesn't collect or retain any personal information, I did wonder what the company's end goals were.
Now I have a greater idea of what MatchMine plans on doing. It's added videos, music and blogs to its media recommendation system, and included a handy desktop application that keeps track of your preferences and continuously updates in order to give you recommendations at any time. MatcMine has also teamed up with three other start-ups, which include Fuzz, the music-sharing network, and FilmCrave .
