iTunes is apparently selling two new NBC shows, despite the recent split between NBC Universal and Apple. Currently, you can purchase episodes of “Chuck” and “Journeyman,” two shows that debuted on NBC earlier this week. However, it’s important to note that Apple remains under contract to release these shows on iTunes, because they are not actually produced by NBC.
This is noteworthy because earlier this month NBC decided to remove its shows from iTunes, while previously Universal Music Group had decided to stop selling its songs on the service. Meanwhile, NBC is planning to launch its own service for streaming its shows later this year.
