Spammers have leaped from YouTube-masked links in your email inbox to sending email directly from YouTube's service. According to security firm Marshal, spammers are sending out emails that look like a YouTube invite, but are filled with spam content and links to spam websites. YouTube has warned users to be cautious of invites that appear to come from the "Invite Your Friends" feature, which is where these messages are coming from, using the "[email protected]" address.

So after Yahoo announced its upgraded filtering protection, and an international crackdown of email spammers, these spammers have taken it to the next level in order to circumvent the new measures being installed.
