The Street View feature of Google Maps is expanding today to offer detailed views of six new cities: Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland and Tucson. The announcement continues Google's roll out of Street View, which provides photos of the actual locations you're looking at on Google Maps. Additionally, Google has added the ability to pan up to see the view above the street. In the example below, you can see the view from the street looking up at the Sears Tower in Chicago.
Meanwhile, international users hoping to be photographed in compromising positions can look forward to Street View coming to London soon, as a Google camera was recently spotted across the pond.
