All those people at MySpace must have some good ideas, right? Apparently, someone really believes that, since ideas about the environment coming from MySpace users will be used in a children's environmental handbook to be realeased by HarperCollins on April 22, Earth Day.

The book is to be titled "MySpace/Our Planet: Change is Possible", and will be entirely written by freelance journalist Jeca Taudt. The author will use around 40 ideas coming from MySPace throughout the book which will also feature a foreword by MySpace co-founder and president, Tom Anderson. The book will have 160 pages, it will cost $12.95, and the first print will consist of 200.000 copies. It's also likely that this will not be the last such project by MySpace, since MySpace's senior vice president for public affairs, Jeff Berman, has said that other book projects are likely to happen.
