Vitrue Raises $10 Million for Private Label Video Communities

Vitrue, a company that creates online video communities for major brands, has closed $10 million in Series B funding. The funding was led by Dace Ventures and also included Comcast and Turner Broadcasting. According to the company, the major selling point of their software is the ability for brands to tightly monitor and control what users are able to publish.

The company’s customers include Procter and Gamble, TBS, and VH1.
